Our Quality Policy

We translate our strong quality orientation into tangible benefits for our customers. We call this Quality in Action. Building highly reliable software that meets customer requirements and expectations was always our top priority. To achieve this we adopted sound engineering practices in software development and continuously improved them. The maturity of our quality practices means that we apply the best practices and relevant models at the appropriate stage of a project, which is reflected in on-schedule, on-budget deliveries with minimized field defects.

Today, our definition of processes includes not only the engineering and project management processes but also the business processes. Our processes are supported by a number of engineering tools and automated systems.

We have an elaborate Quality Management System (QMS) that has evolved over a period of many years and is continuously improving, enabled by active organization-wide participation. This system is built on the premise that all processes can be controlled by ensuring that they are run by the right people, using well-written procedures, supported by the right tools for the job and backed up by frequent functional audits and an organization-wide culture of continuous improvement.

Highlights of the Quality Management System

Our software development processes are designed to meet our client’ diverse requirements such a mission-critical applications or developing research-oriented technology solutions.

Our Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001: 2015. Our lifecycle procedures are based on IEEE standards and guidelines.

We are committed to protecting our customers IP rights under a secure organization environment.

Our process database has a rich set of policy documents, procedures, guidelines, checklists, process lifecycle models, tools, information on projects, tips and lessons, best practices, training materials, project metrics and other assets of reusable value. This enables us to provide cost-effective software to our customers.

Our quality processes are supported by many engineering tools and a workflow based integrated system that can be accessed from the intranet by all the members of the organization. This has helped us deploy knowledge management across distributed teams to compress development time frames.

Dedicated teams- Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG), Software Quality Assurance Group, Process Automation Group and the Knowledge Management Group, support the software development processes and business processes. These groups ensure the institutionalization of the continuous improvement focus in the organization.

Redeem System’s quality system uses tools for test coverage analysis, complexity analysis, release management, configuration management and problem tracking, to ensure effective implementation of the QA process. This system has defined a suitable set of metrics along with standardized collection mechanisms for each of the processes. These metrics are analyzed to identify potential process improvements and to detect defects early thereby improving the product quality.

The QMS is designed to ensure that we develop design solutions not only with the intention of meeting our clients’ specifications but also in accordance with statutory and other industry-wide standards. Our QMS has been evolving and incorporates the collective learning from our employees, who work on diverse assignments from customers across the globe. To enhance solutions by reducing defects and cycle times in support function processes, Redeem Systems has now embarked on the Six Sigma initiative.

Redeem System’s quality systems – the Quality Management System – is a unified ISO and SEI CMM quality process platform that is built into the software / product development process. This orientation ensures that employees meet desired quality standards as part of their ongoing work processes.

Adherence to this system is ensured by methodologies, standards and procedures during the entire software development life cycle. This system covers design, development, replication, installation, maintenance and conversion of software systems and products in networking and communication systems, real-time systems, embedded systems, systems software and related areas.
