Hortonworks platforms enable Big Data solutions for all kinds of data: Structured or Unstructured – Data at Rest or Data in Motion. In addition, Hortonworks provides the fastest and most flexible solutions for Spark and SQL. Furthermore, since Hortonworks solutions are based on Open Source technologies, they provide maximum flexibility. Hortonworks is a big data software company based in Santa Clara, California. Hortonworks partners with software-related companies, including BMC Software for business service management and automation, Attunity and Cleo for data integration, SAP and VMWare for cloud, database and other virtualization infrastructure,and ManTech Commercial Services to develop OpenSOC.

Predix is General Electric’s software platform for the collection and analysis of data from industrial machines. General Electric plans to support the growing industrial internet of things with cloud servers and an app store. GE is a member of the Industrial Internet Consortium which works to aid the development and use of industrial internet technologies.Predix delivers the industrial intelligence OEMs need to transform operations and generate new revenues. Combining sophisticated asset modeling, big data processing, analytics, and applications, Predix provides the IT foundation for tomorrow’s industrial operations.

The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) is an Indian Government owned telecommunications technology development center. It was established in 1984 with initial mandate of designing and developing digital exchanges. C-DOT has expanded to develop intelligent computer software applications.
